1. Data controller

Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (“KVKK”), your personal data may be processed by Dr. Seniha Avcıl as data controller, within the scope described below.

2. Data processed

Only the data you provide through this website is processed:

• Identity and contact data: name, telephone number, email address
• Content of your enquiry: the message you write and the subject you select in the contact form

The contact form does not store your entries on a server; the information is prepared for sending through your own email application. When you send the message, the data reaches us by email.

3. Special categories of data

Health data is a special category of personal data under the KVKK. You are advised not to include detailed information about your health in the contact form; such information is taken during a face-to-face consultation under appropriate conditions. Any health information you do share in the form is processed solely for the purpose of assessing your enquiry and on the basis of your explicit consent.

4. Purposes of processing

• Receiving, assessing and responding to enquiries and appointment requests
• Answering your questions and providing information
• Meeting legal obligations

5. Legal basis

Your personal data is processed on the bases set out in KVKK art. 5/2-(c) “directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract”, art. 5/2-(ç) “compliance with a legal obligation” and art. 5/2-(f) “legitimate interests”; and, for health data, on the basis of your explicit consent under art. 6/2.

6. Transfer

Except where required by law, your personal data is not shared with third parties. Cases that are technically unavoidable within the scope of website hosting are outside this scope.

7. Retention

Your data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and for the limitation periods set out in the relevant legislation; at the end of that period it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed; to request information if it has been; to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; to know the third parties to whom it is transferred at home or abroad; to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; to request its deletion or destruction; to request that these actions be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred; to object to a result arising from analysis solely by automated systems; and to claim compensation for loss arising from unlawful processing.
